Urgent Involvement: To help someone who is in crisis on the street
Here are resources to call to get medical and mental health care where people you see are needing assistance
-911-medical emergencies, erratic and aggressive behavior(like walking in traffic), and to call and request the Street Crisis Outreach team for wellness checks when someone is in crisis
-311-you can call or get the app on your phone which works very well. This is for non-urgent issues such as encampments, large dumped debris, or street maintenance issues. We use this for the purpose of getting data into the city systems to track our reports. If a report is made it must be cleared and addressed by someone in the city.
-415-553-0123-Police non-emergency dispatchers who can route people to a wide range of aid agencies, including the emergency and health departments, that oversee at least 10 different teams. Response times are fast @17 minutes.
-628-652-8000-San Francisco Homeless Outreach Team- this number may track calls and locations which may bring attention to an individual if you are concerned about them
